This course teaches the different methods of controlling D.C. motors as used on cranes. Block diagrams of various manufacturers’ controls are utilized to explain the operation of a crane application. DC motor basics and preventive maintenance are also covered in detail. Additionally, the course covers proper preventive maintenance procedures and alignment for D.C. motor controls.
PRE-REQUISITE: You must have completed one the 808T, 808TR, or 808TRW classes within the last two (2) years to be eligible for enrollment.
