As of August 30, 2017, Crane operation is suspended when winds reach 30mph.

Rigging operation is suspended when winds reach 35mph (unless otherwise stated by manufacturer specifications).

Other crane safety measures have also been put into place as Hurricane Harvey approaches, including:

  • Securing Scaffolding
  • Secure Crane Equipment
  • Secure Steel Frames, Metal Decks, Planks & Plywood
  • Provide Shoring & Bracing for Areas under Construction or Demolition
